Thank you for your interest in Christian Job Search Support!
On the 5th December we undertook a sponsored walk to raise money to run this support service.
You will be able to follow our progress through Facebook and on line here. CJSStv
Our aim was raise enough finance to run the site effectively for a year and run and maintain all the services that you will find on www.cjss.org
It has become clear in the last year that there are many who are currently in need of support who are currently not able to receive the support they need. DWP the old job centre cannot meet the needs of all, nether does it seek to do so. If you are in a low paid position and need assistance to apply for better positions the support may not be there. For many there is a stigma for those who have lost their jobs right now. we want to support such people. We are rapidly revamping the CJSS web site to provide improved facilities. This is all being done by volunteers. You will currently find much of the information that has been on the site on the Forum section of the page
Our Prayer section and Support sections are available now so feel free to email Prayer and Advisor for free support
For phone enquiries 07947 826469

Do you know someone out of work, or someone who has had a pay freeze at this time. There are many struggling. We will be providing a Forum, chat room , Free training on line and much much more. There will be a conference call facility for those needing top call in that we hope to run on a weekly basis. if your church or community would like to support this project then please let us know.We will provide services that have never been provided before through God's grace. We are confident that the service provided will be of use to all in need and will welcome enquiries at Sponsored walk enquiry
On this page you have the option of donating to support so many that are currently in need. During the walk photographed and broadcast live.We believe through faith that Jesus will be walking with us in faith and the giving will be a blessing to this project
The walk will start from St Giles Methodist church at 9:am U.K time . And you can follow us as we move on around the city.
You are welcome to download or request the leaflet/handouts that you see to the side.
The Project has been designed to mirror the type of support provided to the kind of support available through DWP contracted provider. With the concept of the footsteps sharing the idea that you are not alone when you are walking with the Lord and being supported through faith by others.."What would Jesus have done"

Praying for the Jobcentre is important as it is where so many are having to visit. This can be demoralising With so few Jobs and such a tough climate wefelt it was essential to pray for all at this building. You can see us praying on the video clips on CJSStv walk We noted that the opening hours were 9-5. it should be noted that the High st office is no longer open.
